A New Beginning
I stayed with Donna, Tim, and Feather in Missoula Montana for two nights. We returned the U-Haul, visited Adventure Cycling and gathered supplies. Donna was one of the college cyclists from 1976 and has been a valuable member of our group organizing reunions and keeping us connected. She even drove me up to Great Falls, Montana so I could skip Roger’s Pass, the last of the Rockies. During the ride it fell below 40 degrees outside and I was thankful for not having to ride my bike through that environment. We spent the afternoon at the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center. My trip is nothing compared to what these explorers went through. The next morning Donna dropped me off to the west of Great Falls and the new adventure began.
