Final Days in Montana
Amy and I were best friends in college and with her husband Eric, came from Canada to visit while I was in Glendive, Montana. It was way too short, but it was also a morale booster. Eric helped me with some bike repairs which I greatly appreciated, and we also visited Makoshika State Park and the Frontier Museum
When it was time for them to head back across the border, they dropped me off at Joy’s and Glen’s house, another wonderful Warmshowers host. I spent a good part of the afternoon sitting with Glen down by the river as he fished and we both swapped stories. Whether they were all true or not, only we will ever know.
The long trek across just part of Montana is now coming to an end. North Dakota is next!
